Linking to one of many recipes for beer can chicken, just so I don't have to keep searching for how hot and how long to set the oven (350F, 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until the temperature of the meat has reached 180F).
I usually just rub it with salt and pepper, and today I sliced a Meyer lemon very thinly, and put the slices under the chicken's skin before I salted and peppered it and set it on a can of Tecate beer.
