The New York Times has video from a set of surveillance cameras that caught the Hudson water landing and subsequent rescue effort.
Amazing, really. Plane comes down at a good angle, throws up a big fan of water, and the first ferry shows up almost immediately, and then you see the next boat speeding off the riverbank, then slow down and gently circle up to the plane, then another and yet another. And people standing on the wings, not freaking out, waiting to be helped.
What a great job by the pilot. My brother being a pilot himself is admired that he pilot did such a good jod landing the plane the way he did.
Excellent vid! thanks!
