So I haven't really been happy with the last action-dominated films I've seen, but when I pondered my next movie move, the titles at the top of the list were In The Valley of Elah, Eastern Promises, and The Hunting Party.
Then I read Roger Ebert's review of The Jane Austen Book Club, which wasn't even on my radar, but he spoke so fondly of it that I decided this was just the right thing. I liked it a lot even though I haven't read most of Austen's novels (I think I've only read "Pride and Prejudice"). Now I want to read them all, and then see the film again. Maybe I should start my own Jane Austen book club.
