What Is It Good For? Absolutely Nothing!

From my new series, "Thoroughly useless inventions of the modern age":

Car alarms. Does anybody pay attention to them any more, noticing possible theft in progress? No. The only ones paying them any mind are the birds who feel inspired to learn their cadences.
