Oh yeah, I finished Elmore Leonard's LaBrava. See? Told you I'd catch up! I like his storytelling, even though I can tell how the story is going to end. But it's about how it gets there, and how it's told. That's where the fun comes in. And this one actually had a slight twist in the end, deviating a smidgen from the "bad guys get their due" formula. I enjoyed it very much, and am already scheming to find another Leonard I haven't read yet (there's not all that many left). Maybe I'll read Pagan Babies again, that's one my favorites.
