A few more assorted notes related to SXSWi, just bulleted because I can't be bothered to do them justice right now.
• Badgerbag writes up her notes about tagging, group behavior, and popularity, which reminded me of Buzz quoting a take on Andy Warhol's famous saying: "These days, everybody is famous to 15 people."
• Bruce Sterling, whose closing keynote was well valleywagged, said, "I live out of my laptop". I get that - I carry an Empire Builder that I describe as "my life in a bag".
Sterling mentioned Alex Steffen whom I've actually met (but that's a different story and shall be told another time) and said to check out Alex's new book, which I may just do.
And he said "the wetlands of language", which appealed to me.
• These wireless interwebs are really nifty. I was online most of the time while I attended panels, and I signed up for several service sites that were mentioned, like:
• I also signed up with a porn site that my host Jeff introduced me to. Good times. Good times.
Mmmm. Tomato porn. I'm diggin it.

Very seedy porn site, indeed. How many hits did you get on this entry because everybody checks out the porn site you signed up for? Tell me :-)

I can't carry a shoulder bag without tearing up aforementioned shoulder, so I switched to a Brain Bag a couple of weeks ago.
