Blogger Meetup at the Coffee Society last night, with most of the usual crowd: yours truly, Rich, Hank, Antwon, Sandra, Ealasaid, Silvia, and Silvia's daughter Sarah.
We talked quite a bit about that new Natalie Portman movie that some of us are going to see on Saturday, about what George Lucas was thinking, and about what the hell George Lucas was thinking. Sandra explained more detail about her eBay shopping alert system that really does sound very nifty (only I don't sell or buy on eBay, so I don't have use for it).
And I left when the conversation turned to sex vacations. Not because I was offended (you've seen my big mouth in action, you know I'm not easily offended), but because I was dead tired.
Third night in a row I didn't even unpack my PowerBook at home. In bed with the lights out before 10:30pm. Sad. Very sad.
Damn, I missed all the talking about Natalie Portman. :(

Natalie Portman has a new movie out? Really?
"Sex vacations"..... is that vacations FOR or FROM sex?

Well, I don't know where the conversation went after I excused myself. Maybe Rich could shed more light on it. :^)

Come gather round? Are you listening to John Wesley Harding?

Occasionally. You don't mind, do you?

I love John Wesley Harding. Great song writer, great show. Saw him a couple of times. Once with the Attractions backing him.
You can't go wrong there.

My "house station", KFOG, plays him a bit, and I do enjoy that. "Kiss me, Miss Liberty" and "Kill the Messenger" get quite a bit of airplay on my PowerBook. And I just read he has a book out, under his real name ... what was that again? Oh yeah, Wesley Stace. But you already knew that, didn't you?
