That's The Way, A-ha, A-ha, I Like It

Here we are at Barefoot Coffee for our bimonthly blogger meeting. Quite a crowd today: Rich, Silvia, David, Jon, Ealasaid, Hank, Kevin and me. And recursive joined us for the first time.

I decree that Rich and I get a special award, because we were the only ones who blogged every single day during sweeps week. But we got busy talking about porn (of course) and the metrics of success. Yes, these topics are related. Kevin has evil ideas about customized spam, which I will not repeat here, for fear of them actually becoming true.

And I have to publish this. Now. Because Ealasaid is blogging this in real-time too, and I. Must. Beat her. To it.

Rats. She wins, being entirely more awesome than me, as usual.

Amended later ... Hank, even though he admitted that I frighten him, dared tell me that he wasn't all that impressed with the Pixar exhibit. We talked about fear for a minute or two, and Jon pointed out that the secret to a good relationship was fear. Hank concurred and added that fear was the reason men don't look women in the eye. [Nice try, buddy. Actually - extra points for you, sir. Good one.]

8:45ish: David Kadavy just joined us, yay! Let's get this party started!

9:30ish ... Jon and David K. are talking about food and grocery shopping, all the while I am chatting with a colleague in Tokyo.

And Ealasaid does not cry at the movies. You know, she is probably as tough as Chuck Norris*, and her tears cure cancer. (Too bad she doesn't cry ... ever.)
*I have seen her roundhouse kick. This was years ago, and I still remember it.

Aw, I'm blushing! :D You always do an actual roll-call, though, which I never have the presence of mind to do. Also, I suck with names and am scared I'll do it wrong. ;)

Yay for live blogging!

You go girls. I hope I will have an iBook soon. Thanx for not mentioning that I was the loser who had to leave first. Oh, actually, thinking about it, this was Kevin :-)
