I love Netflix. Watched Jackie Brown on DVD a couple of days ago, and can't get it out of my head. I'd seen most of it on TV several times, but I'd always missed the first fifteen or so minutes.
Finally, I saw the whole thing, and marveled again at how all the Elmore Leonard-based movies are so cool (Get Shorty was most excellent, and Out of Sight is just brilliant), and how Tarantino has a way with images and Gawd, does he do the perfect soundtracks!
And I forgot how handsome Robert Forster is, the actor who plays the cool .... well, hero is not the right word. The good guy. And man, is he excellent in this role.
Anyway ... why is this in my bookblog? Because I haven't read Rum Punch, the novel it's based on, but I sure want to. Goes on my reading list right now.
